The GUM/EDHF Awards Of Distinction are established to recognize and celebrate impactful individual success stories by dental hygienists. Those success stories can be in patient care, community work, education, research; anything that has elevated the dental hygienist profession.
Nominations for the 2025 edition will be accepted from June 2nd until September 15th 31st, 2025. Nomination only requires written answers to a set of questions (150-350 words per answer) that inquire what you – or the colleague you’re nominating – have done to elevate the dental hygiene profession within a certain category.
The winners will receive 1000 EUR and qualify for the 2026 World Dental Hygienist Awards program, with a chance to win registration, travel and ceremony celebrations at ISDH Milan, 2026.
